Terms of Use

Last updated 21 October 2026

These terms cover the Timeshape app for iOS and this website. Using Timeshape means you agree to them. If you don't, you can remove the app from your device.

Who you're dealing with

Timeshape is made and published by Mykhailo Sverdlykivskyi, an independent developer in Ukraine. Write to support@timeshape.app with anything about these terms.

Your licence to use Timeshape

Apps on the App Store are licensed, not sold. Your licence for Timeshape is Apple's standard end user licence agreement, which you accept when you download the app. These terms sit alongside it and explain what you are buying and how we expect the app to be used. Where the two differ about the licence itself, Apple's agreement applies.

What's free and what's paid

Timeshape is free to download. Some features need a paid plan, and the app tells you which ones before it asks you to pay.

Plans

There are three ways to pay: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew until you cancel them. The lifetime purchase does not renew — you pay once and keep the paid features for as long as we publish Timeshape on the App Store. It isn't a promise of any particular feature we haven't built yet.

Before you confirm anything, the App Store shows you the name of the plan, how long it lasts, and the exact price in your own currency. Prices differ between countries, and the price shown at the moment of purchase is the one that applies.

Free trial

A subscription may start with a free trial. Before the trial begins, the app shows how long it lasts and what you will pay when it ends. Apple allows one trial per Apple Account for each group of subscriptions, so if you have used a Timeshape trial before, you may not be offered another.

A trial becomes a paid subscription on its own. To avoid the charge, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the trial ends.

How renewal works

A subscription renews at the end of each period at the price shown in the App Store, unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before that period ends. Apple charges your Apple Account within the 24 hours before each renewal.

If a renewal price goes up, Apple asks you to agree to the new price first. If you don't agree, the subscription stops renewing instead.

Cancelling

You cancel in your Apple Account rather than in Timeshape: open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and choose Timeshape. You can also do it at account.apple.com. We have no way to cancel a subscription on your behalf.

Cancelling stops the next charge, and you keep the paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for. A lifetime purchase has nothing to cancel.

Refunds

Apple sells Timeshape and everything bought inside it, so Apple handles refunds. Ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com. The decision is Apple's; we can't make it or reverse it.

If you're asking because something is broken, write to support@timeshape.app first. We would rather fix it, and if a refund is the right outcome we will say so in support of your request. None of this affects the cancellation or withdrawal rights you have under the consumer law where you live, which are also exercised through Apple.

Restoring a purchase

A purchase belongs to the Apple Account that paid for it and works on your other devices signed in to that account. If the app doesn't recognise your plan — after reinstalling, for instance — use "Restore purchases" in the app.

Your entries stay yours

What you track in Timeshape is stored on your device, not with us. We can't read it, and we can't recover it if you lose it, so keep your iPhone backed up. Our privacy notice explains this in full.

Using Timeshape fairly

Please don't try to unlock paid features without paying, interfere with how the app works, take it apart to build something from it, or use it to do anything unlawful. If someone does, we may stop providing the paid features to them.

Changes

Timeshape will keep changing: we add features, improve them, and sometimes retire ones that no longer earn their place. If a change takes away something substantial that a paid plan gave you, we will tell you rather than let you discover it.

We may update these terms too, to describe a new plan for example. The date at the top shows the current version, and using Timeshape after a change means you accept it.

If something goes wrong

Timeshape is a tool for noticing where your time goes. It isn't medical, psychological, or financial advice, and it isn't a substitute for professional help. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will never have a bug.

None of this takes away the rights you have as a consumer where you live, and it doesn't change what Apple is responsible for under the licence agreement above.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. If you are a consumer elsewhere — in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, say — you keep the protections of the consumer law in your own country and can bring a claim before the courts there.
