Timeshape Back

Privacy

Last updated 21 October 2026

This notice covers the Timeshape app for iOS, this website, and the support messages you send us. The short version: what you track in Timeshape stays on your iPhone.

Your entries stay on your device

Timeshape has no account and no sign-in. The activities you create and the time you record are stored on your device and are never sent to us. We can't read them, and we can't recover them for you.

If you back up your iPhone, your Timeshape data is part of that backup, held in your own Apple Account under Apple's terms rather than ours. Deleting the app removes the data from your device.

Buying a plan

Apple sells every plan and processes the payment. We never see your card details, your billing address, or your name.

To know what you've bought and unlock the right features, the app uses a service called RevenueCat. It receives your App Store receipt and basic technical details about your installation of the app — never your name, your email address, or anything you have tracked in Timeshape.

We use that to confirm a purchase is genuine, to unlock paid features on the devices signed in to your Apple Account, and to see how many people subscribe in total.

RevenueCat stores this on its servers in the United States, handles it only on our instructions, and doesn't use it for advertising. Its side of the arrangement is described in RevenueCat's privacy policy.

What Apple tells us

Apple sends us sales reports: how many downloads, trials, subscriptions, and refunds there were, grouped by country and period. If you've turned on sharing analytics with developers in your iOS settings, we also see aggregate figures about crashes and usage. None of it identifies you, and we have no access to your Apple Account.

Website and support

You can read this site and follow the App Store link without giving us an email address. If you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond to your request.

Service providers

This website is hosted by Cloudflare, and our emails are sent through Resend.

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It may process information about your browser and device, approximate location, pages visited, and how you arrived here.

Previous launch-list signups

If you joined the launch list before release, your address is gone: we deleted the whole list on 21 October 2026, once the launch notification had been sent.

Those addresses were used only for the two emails we promised: the printable weekly tracker and the launch notification. We never used the list for newsletters, profiling, or advertising, and we never sold it.

Your rights and choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email support@timeshape.app and tell us what you need. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

What that means in practice depends on the kind of information. There is nothing for us to delete from what you track in Timeshape, because we never had it — removing the app removes it. Purchase records sit with Apple, which handles requests about them directly — we can't act on them for you. We also hold a purchase record through RevenueCat with no name or email attached to it; email us your App Store transaction ID and we will delete it. The launch list has been deleted, so there is nothing left there to find, correct, or remove.

Children

Timeshape isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information about them.

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes, we update the date at the top. If a change matters — a new service provider, or a new kind of information — we'll say so on the site rather than quietly swap the page.

Who we are
